How Britney Spears lost her pounds

1: Bye Bye Bye Alcohol! - Alcohol turns straight to fat and will give you a nice beer belly. Ditch it like Britney! If you must drink drink clear drinks.

2: Eat little and often: Britney eats 5 small healthy meals, her meals are full of protein. They include tofu, ham, eggs, chicken. Protein is great for helping you keep muscle, lose fat, and it curbs your appetite!

3: No more extra calories: Anything you don’t NEED to eat, don’t. Don’t drink soda, don’t eat chips, nothing loaded with sugar. Do it like Britney!

Metabolism, as you’re referring to it, is how many calories you burn in a day, AKA your BMR or RMR depending on which you count.
the only way to increase this is more fat (undesireable) or more muscle - uses 15 calories per pound, per hour versus a pound of fat’s 1.
Eat all the spicy peppers you wantpile on the cinnamon
all you’re doing is lying to yourself in lieu of doing something actually useful - like weight training and eating protein.

Megan Fox Diet And Workout Plan

This is how Megan Fox got in shape for Transformers

Megan Fox workout plan:

Megan Fox had a personal trainer that tried to make her do a time compressed body-weight routine.
Her trainer understood what she needed to look sexy and be slim, without adding weight.

Planks:
Her workout routine relied more on plank training.Planks are by far the best move for women to get sexy, flat abs like Megan.

A short ab circuit:
After crushing her abs with planks, she would then spend 15-20 minutes doing a circuit that involved knee ups, leg swings, and ball leg lifts. The idea is to do 3-4 different exercises back-to-back, rest 30-60 seconds, then do it again. Repeat for 15-20 minutes. It`s hard but it`s worth it!

Old School Stationary Bike:
She then took advantage of the increased heart rate by finishing off with 30 minutes of cycling. This was done with low intensity because if you do low intensity on long periods of time it`s a better technique to get lean than a short period with high intensity.

Megan Fox Diet Plan:

Megan eats whole food sources instead of processed foods and avoids grains. This is similar to what many people call the “Paleo Diet” which is similar to eating like our ancestors.

Avoid Grains:
“Hunters and Gatherers ate fruits and vegetables as their carbohydrates. The human body was meant to eat fruits and vegetables, not grains.”

Natural Sources of Protein:
Things like nuts, eggs, and meat are a great source of protein.

Fats Are Good:
Megan Fox’s diet had a good amount of fat. She ate an ounce of almonds and a few eggs ever day while preparing for her role in Transformers.
She just stuck to whole foods without eating grains.

How To Stop Procrastinating With Diet and Workouts

  • “Map out” the process of change. Decide on how you’re going to stop procrastinating. Decide what you want to do. Plan it out. Write it out.
  • You know yourself more than anyone. What do you usually do that screws up your diet or workout? Plan ahead on how to stop yourself from making these same mistakes!
  • If you’re about to say “I’ll do it later” about a workout, ask yourself why? Why later? Why not now? Are you really that busy? Same goes with saying tomorrow for a diet. Why tomorrow? Why not today?
  • Use to buddy system (: Find a fitness buddy to push your ass in gear!
  • Set a reward for yourself besides that killer body you’ll have! “If I workout today, I will watch my favorite movie tonight!” This reward should be un-food related.

Foods for better skin

The studies on diet and skin don’t reveal anything we don’t already know. Diets rich in fruits and vegetables are good for us, skin included. Healthful foods appear to reduce inflammation and decrease the likelihood of breakouts. Here are some of the big players when it comes to healthy skin:

Vitamin A. “Vitamin A helps regulate the skin cycle, so no acne-causing protein and oil get trapped,” Marmur says. It’s the main ingredient in Accutane, an effective prescription medicine for acne. Good food sources of vitamin A include fish oil, salmon, carrots, spinach, and broccoli. Too much vitamin A can lead to toxic side effects, however. Limit your daily dose to 10,000 IU and never take it while pregnant or nursing.

Zinc. There is some evidence that people with acne have lower than normal levels of the mineral zinc. Zinc appears to help prevent acne by creating an environment inhospitable to the growth of P. acnes. It also helps calm skin irritated by breakouts. Zinc is found in turkey, almonds, Brazil nuts, and wheat germ.

Vitamins E and C. The antioxidants vitamin E and vitamin C have a calming effect on the skin. “And they are thought to work synergistically,” Marmur says. Sources of vitamin C include oranges, lemons, grapefruit, papaya, and tomatoes. You can get vitamin E from sweet potatoes, nuts, olive oil, sunflower seeds, avocados, broccoli, and leafy green vegetables.

Selenium. The mineral selenium has antioxidant properties that help protect skin from free radical damage. And one study showed that, together with vitamin E, it may improve acne as well. “A small Swedish study on 42 men and 47 women found that those who consumed selenium together with vitamin E for 12 weeks saw improvements in their acne,” says New York City dermatologist Francesca Fusco, MD.  Food sources of selenium include wheat germ, tuna, salmon, garlic, Brazil nuts, eggs, and brown rice.

Omega-3 fatty acids. “Omega-3 fatty acids inhibit certain molecules that lead to inflammation and resulting skin problems,” Fusco says. They also support the normal healthy skin cell turnover that helps keep acne at bay. You can get omega-3 fatty acids from cold water fish, such as salmon and sardines; flaxseed oil; walnuts; sunflower seeds; and almonds.

Water. “It’s a good mantra for people to remember to drink water,” Marmur says. “Many of us have our morning coffee and then drink only one drink during the day and one at night.” Water helps hydrate your body and leads to plump, healthy skin. Adequate hydration helps flush out toxins that can cause skin problems. It is also essential for skin metabolism and regeneration.

Foods to avoid:

Dairy, fast food, tomatoes, simple sugars

Something that really helps- Warm water with lemon and it’s also helpful with weight loss!

6 Ways To Avoid Stress Eating!

  1. Eat a balanced/nutritious diet! Diet affects your brain and how it works. Prepare your brain and body to better handle stressful situations to keep your emotions in balance and what not. Make sure you’re eating healthy foods, and eating enough.
  2. Eat complex carbs!-  Have oatmeal, raisin bran and other whole-grain cereals and breads, as well as brown rice, whole-grain pasta, vegetables, beans, fruits, and nonfat milk. These complex carbohydrates help your brain make the feel-good chemical serotonin, which counteracts stress, says Thayer. Moderate amounts of healthy fats from olives, avocadoes, nuts, seeds, fatty fish, nut butters and olive oil also help, adds Kleiner.
  3. Recognize what’s happening!- If you’re eating more than usual, ask yourself “is this because I am stressed?” Really think about it.
  4. Fool yourself- Instead of snacking on Doritos if you feel like eating during a stressful time, start munching on carrots and or celery.
  5. Out of sight out of mind~- You just got home from a horrible day at school, you just got in a fight with your friend, you have a deadline for a term paper coming up… whatever it may be you realize you’re upset. During times like these just stay out of the kitchen. Don’t even go near it.
  6. Come up with some ideas right now!- Make a list of new things you will do when you get stressed! It could be writing, knitting, running, dancing, playing guitar. Anything. So whenever you’re stressed you turn to that instead (:

Best way to make your metabolism go faster

pet peeve

When people post on fb or even just say this “I just did 100 crunches to burn calories.”

First of all doing 100 crunches is not a high calorie burner. Cardio is.

Doing 100 crunches once won’t “define your abs.”

Abdominal muscles need to me worked at daily (or every other day you know) and like I said cardio is what burns calories if you just like ate a piece of cake. Not doing a strengthening workout.

hey here’s Jenn with your daily ~ana~ tips

If you haven’t said your daily prayer to ~*ana*~, better do it now, before it’s too late, and evil _mia_ gets you!

before you eat anything - ANYTHING - drink 2 tablespoons of bleach. It totally kills your appetite. No willpower? If you still eat, it burns a hole through your stomach lining, so you won’t even digest it! It’ll just fall out into your body. No nasty calories.

Sure, you might go blind, but hey - then you won’t have to see FOOD and be tempted by it. You won’t want food - just like a REAL ~ana~.
